For this project, I created a series of postage stamps and a poster for a fictitious brand, Composium, whose mission is to promote sustainability through composting. The process began with a unique exploration: I spent an hour observing an orange through the lens of the five senses. This exercise allowed me to fully immerse myself in its textures, colors, and natural design.

Next, I carefully peeled the orange, segment by segment, documenting each stage through photography. To push the exploration further, I let the orange decay over the course of a week, capturing the transformation as it decomposed. This process revealed fascinating organic patterns, textures, and colors that inspired the visual identity of the brand.

The final designs reflect the cyclical nature of life and decomposition, aligning with Composium’s mission to emphasize sustainability and the beauty of natural processes. The stamps and poster use earthy tones, organic shapes, and detailed imagery from my documentation to communicate the importance of composting and its role in reducing waste.
