Nike Air Max Day

OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

"Imagine a world without air” served as the conceptual foundation for my Nike Air Max Day project. I designed an AR-enabled exhibit and interactive print piece that deconstructed Air Max technology using 3D modeling to create an immersive, personal storytelling experience. Completed within one week, this project pushed me beyond my comfort zone while strengthening my skills in AR, 3D modeling, and communication, and challenged me to rethink how print and emerging technology can connect people to products and brand stories.

For this project, I designed a conceptual magazine for a fictitious architecture publication called "Objekt". My primary goal was to explore pacing within the magazine spreads, ensuring that each layout engaged the reader and guided them seamlessly through the content.

To achieve this, I incorporated a backward “K” and dynamic line work throughout the design. These elements add surprising details, create visual rhythm, and enhance the reader’s experience by subtly breaking up the structure in unexpected ways. Creating the masthead was a crucial part of the project. I wanted it to serve as more than just a logo. I envisioned it as an extension of the brand’s persona. By leveraging negative space and carefully crafted typography, I aimed to create a distinctive and modern identity that reflects the magazine’s architectural focus. The result is a masthead that embodies minimalism, precision, and the elegance of architectural design.

This project challenged me to balance creativity with functionality, showcasing my ability to design for both aesthetics and user engagement.
